Plano Business Insurance Quotes
Plano is dense with professional services, technology firms and consultancies, and those businesses have a different risk profile than a retail storefront. The coverage that matters most here is usually the one general liability does not provide.

Why general liability is not the main policy for most Plano businesses
Property, business income, and the office nobody insured properly
Employees, autos, and umbrella limits
"Our biggest client sent a services agreement requiring E&O and cyber at limits we did not have. Rainbow read it, quoted a combined tech E&O policy, and we signed the deal on time. They also pointed out we had never insured our build-out."

Plano Business Insurance FAQs
What is the difference between general liability and professional liability?
General liability covers bodily injury and property damage, such as a client tripping in your office. Professional liability, or errors and omissions, covers claims that you performed your professional service wrongly. For most Plano consultancies and technology firms, the second is the larger exposure and it is not included in the first.
My client contract requires E&O and cyber. Can you handle both?
Yes, and for technology firms they are often combined into a single technology errors and omissions policy. Send us the contract, since the required limits and any specific wording live in the master services agreement rather than the lease, and we will build to it.
I run my business from my Plano home. Does my homeowners policy cover it?
Almost certainly not. Homeowners policies carry very low business property sublimits and exclude business liability, so a home-based business is generally uninsured for its business exposure. A small business owners policy or an in-home business endorsement fixes it inexpensively.
Should I carry employment practices liability?
If you have employees, it is worth pricing. Wrongful termination, discrimination and harassment claims are considerably more likely for a professional employer than a premises injury, defense costs are substantial even on claims without merit, and general liability excludes all of it.
